These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PawChapters app ("PawChapters", "we",
"us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not
agree, do not use the app.
1. The Service
PawChapters lets you create AI-generated portraits from photos of your pet and order
physical prints of those portraits. Some features are free with daily limits; others
require a paid subscription.
2. Eligibility & Acceptable Use
You must be the minimum age required in your country to form a binding contract.
You may only upload photos you own or have permission to use.
You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexual, or otherwise
objectionable content, and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app.
We may remove content or suspend access for violations of these Terms.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
PawChapters offers auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through your Apple App
Store account. Pricing and subscription length are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription
renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before
the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies; we do not
directly process subscription refunds.
4. Print Orders
Physical prints are sold separately from subscriptions and are paid for via our
payment processor (Stripe) and produced and shipped by our print partner (Gelato).
Prices are shown before checkout and may include shipping and applicable taxes.
Because prints are made-to-order with your personalized image, orders generally
cannot be cancelled or refunded once production begins, except where required by
law or in the case of a defective or damaged product. Contact support for issues.
5. AI-Generated Content
Portraits are produced by an automated AI system and may vary in quality or
appearance. Results are provided "as is." You are responsible for the photos you
submit and for how you use the portraits you create.
6. Intellectual Property
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you retain rights to the photos you
upload and may use the portraits you generate for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The PawChapters app, branding, and software remain our property.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent
permitted by law, PawChapters is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect
constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
